Social projects

The principles of social orientation and responsibility have been and remain the guiding origins of our company. Providing legal services on the subsidized terms, and charity – only the few manifestations of humanism, which naturally shall be reflected in the practice of any law firm. Maxima Legal is no exception: we think about those who need our help, and we try to give due consideration not only to the commercial, but also to the social projects.

As part of the social programs, Maxima Legal provides charitable assistance to the following organizations:

Faith and Hope Charitable Foundation

The Foundation is engaged in the spiritual and educational work with the persons with disabilities, orphans and children left without parental care in the orphan homes, boarding schools, orphanages and children's homes, providing charitable assistance to the orphan institutions. The Foundation's mission - to give warmth, love and care to the orphans, the disabled, the sick, the abandoned and needy children.

At the boarding school the children are educated from the large families, the disadvantaged families (drug addiction, alcoholism), children left without parental care.

Psycho-neurological Boarding School N 10 St. Petersburg

The purpose of the autonomous institution is to provide a social service of the senior citizens and the disabled, suffering from the mental and chronic conditions requiring the constant nursing care.

Another important manifestation of the social orientation of our company is an opportunity to provide the necessary legal assistance on the subsidized, including free of charge basis (pro bono):

• In the summer of 2013 the lawyers of Maxima Legal defended the interests of Yury Shevchuk, the singer of DDT group in the resonant “case of honor” against Nikolai Denin, the Governor of the Bryansk region. We were able to prove the injustice of the charges brought against the singer and defend his right to express his own public stand.
• Long-term partnership connects the team of Maxima Legal with St. Petersburg Academic Philharmonic named after Shostakovich. While recognizing its absolute value for the formation of the national cultural heritage, lawyers of Maxima Legal are providing support to the oldest Russian Philharmonic on a subsidized basis.
• Maxima Legal provides the consulting assistance to the ALEXANDER Foundation of Support of the Culture, Arts and Education under the patronage of Alexander Sokurov. Foundation named after the Russian film director and screenwriter, Honored Artist of Russia aims to support the creative initiatives and endeavors of the talented people across Russia (presentation of ALEXANDER Foundation activities).
